Tourism and agriculture are two of the main economic activities in the country. Since São Tomé and Príncipe (STP) is primarily an agricultural nation, it is also a popular tourist destination.  By 2030, STP expects to welcome around 345,000 tourists. However, one of the challenges facing tourism in the country is the lack of diversification. As people increasingly seek opportunities to connect with nature and rural life—to learn about the origins of their food and the relationship between agriculture and the environment—agri-tourism is gaining popularity. This trend, along with the relative ease of obtaining arable land in the country presents a unique opportunity to combine agriculture and tourism, potentially generating significant revenue by offering a distinct product to this growing market niche. To succeed in this endeavor, it is crucial to collaborate with knowledgeable professionals who can provide credible guidance and advice.
